Welcome to Cleveland Chiropractic College-Kansas City! Congratulations on your choice to look at one of the leading chiropractic institutions in the nation. The college is conveniently located in Kansas City's metropolitan area of over one million people within minutes of fun-filled activities and recreation. Kansas City also offers a variety of restaurants, shopping, parks, sports arenas, movies, night- life, and concerts. You can enjoy the convenience of living in one of the many affordable residential neighborhoods near campus as well as loft and downtown living. There are many opportunities to enjoy extracurricular activities and recreation both on and off campus including student organizations and intramural sports. Student organizations provide activities that promote the philosophy of chiropractic and support diversity.
Our goal, as MSAs, is to educate the student body on the importance of cultural diversity, as well as promote diversity among the campus and within the chiropractic profession. We try to present and illustrate the benefits of the chiropractic profession among colleges and the community by attending college campus events and giving presentations.

Hello, my name is Monique Koger, and I will start the DC program January 2009. I am originally from Chicago, Illinois but have spent time in many areas of the United States during my 13 year US Army career. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Regions University, Montgomery, AL. Next to being a full-time student, I am also a full-time mom to four of the best children in the world: Alexis 16, Jessie 13, Bre 11, and Brent 9.
I chose CCC simply because the staff, and the school’s reputation for graduating the “best of the best” elite chiropractors. Being in the military, I have attended many colleges before obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree, and only at CCC can I say that my admission advisor, financial aid advisor, professors, students, and staff all know me by name. You cannot put a price on that and that personal touch is why there is no other choice for me but CCC.
I plan to complete my Masters degree in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and open a practice that is centered on the mind + body = total healing paradigm. I believe more people each day are looking for more holistic and alternative medical healing methods.
I am very excited about working on the MSA team to spread the word to those who are underrepresented in chiropractic medicine and to educate the community about the benefits of chiropractic treatment and that a career in chiropractic medicine is an obtainable goal with hard work and perseverance.

Greetings!
My name is Candice G. Yancy. I am from Cincinnati, OH although a native of Tennessee. I am a proud graduate of the historic Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN where I received my Bachelor of Science degree with honors. I am currently in trimester 5 of 10 at Cleveland Chiropractic College and am involved in several campus activities such as Student American Chiropractic Association, president of Student American Black Chiropractic Association, vice president of Mentors Club, and member of Beta Chi Rho (BXP) Service Fraternity. I am the first of my family to receive a college degree and the first to pursue chiropractic as a profession.
The MSA program is a means to excite, recruit, and encourage the field of chiropractic. One of my goals as a Multicultural Student Advocate is to introduce chiropractic as a career option and healthcare alternative to underrepresented communities.
Welcome to Cleveland Chiropractic College and prepare to be the BEST!
